SNARK: Running the gauntlet of people wishing me a good morning and thrusting the Express paper into my already-full hands as I run-walk into the Metro station. If I wanted the boiled-down newspaper for my trip, I could easily grab it from the box. Don't both of you stand such that I am forced to walk between you to access the station.

LARK: Being able to commute on one of the world's finest transit systems. For all its quirks, Metro really does rock the party. And it makes me feel like Hip City Girl again, instead of Boring, 40-ish Suburban Mom, if only for 30 minutes, twice a day, two days a week.

Like the lark, lots & lots. The snark? Needs more context, but I bet with the other two pages, or even in person over wine, it could edge out the lark.

Love the concept in general, too. I like the "balancedness" of it... feel free to snark, but show some balance in there! I shall keep this in mind and try to add some (SN)(L)ARK soon!
